Envelope Punch Board Jar and Flowers

Today's card shows a fun use of the Envelope Punch Board.
Stampin' Up! Helping Me Grow stamp set. Flowers in Vase. Handmade thank you card by Lisa Young, Add Ink and Stamp

The flowers are embossed with white, colored with an aqua painter, and the one in the foreground was hand cut.

The best part of the card is the Vellum jar/vase made to look as such by using the Envelope Punch Board. It rounds corners and makes the indent for the neck. Once the shape was complete, I gave it a wash with some ink and tied some Linen Thread around it for a country vibe. Of course the gingham helps with that too!

The supplies are all listed at the end of this post or can be found in my Online Store.

The Envelope Punch Board isn't on sale this week but the Gift Bag Punch Board is! Also on sale are some items from the Occasions Catalog as well as lots of other good stuff. Fifteen items.

The Weekly Deals will no longer be offered after April 18th but Stampin' Up! is sure putting some good ones out there in the mean time :)

Gorgeous card. Love that vellum jar. What a great idea. I love that twine around the jar, too. Just beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love your cute card, Lisa. The jar is great with the pretty flowers and the gingham paper on the side. Thanks so much for the tip about using the envelope punch to shape the jar. Perfect!!
