Stamp Review Crew: Happy Scenes Edition

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop. Everyone is featuring the stamp set, Happy Scenes which is found in the Holiday catalog. If you arrived from the blog of talented Holly Krautkremer, then you are right where you should be. If this is your first stop, just follow the links. The hop goes full circle.

I case you were wondering what this set includes, here is a picture.

Best of all this stamp set coordinates with Hearth and Home framelits - a cute little window frame and shelf.
I have the framelits but decided to show how this stamp set can stand on its own.

Happy Scenes, Stampin' Up! Clean and Simple Winter card. Clean and Simple Christmas card. Peace. Handmade by Lisa Young, Add Ink and Stamp
I stamped the tree image on the background and on a banner. I then embossed them with the Softly Falling embossing folder found in the Holiday catalog. The banner is attached with dimensionals to give it some height.
A little bit of silver cord and some tiny glitter paper stars add a touch of silver and shine. I like cards that are easy to recreate and this certainly falls into that category.

All supplies are Stampin' Up!
Stamps: Happy Scenes
Paper: Silver Glimmer paper
Card Stock: Whisper White and Heavyweight Whisper White
Ink: Mossy Meadow, Soft Sky, Crumb Cake
Other: dimensionals, Silver Cord, Banner Punch, Confetti Star Border Punch, White Chalk Pen, Fine Tip Glue Pen, Aquapainter

The next stop on your way is the blog of another talented stamper, Nancy Smith. Enjoy!
