Sheltering Tree with Flower in Spotlight

You know how sometimes you will see a printed image and there will be a portion of it, usually in a circle, that is a zoomed in so you can see the details? That was my idea for today's card.

Stampin' Up! Sheltering Tree stamp set with a blossom from Indescribable Gifts stamp set . A Spring card. Spotlight technique. Made by Lisa Young from Add Ink and Stamp.
This tree is full of blossoms - some are falling to the ground, some are even on the ground. But what do those blossoms look like? For this occasion they look like the blossoms in the Indescribable Gifts stamp set!

Stamping Tip: Use Watercolor Paper and Stampin' Write Markers for the blossoms. It makes the colors much more vibrant. I used a combination of Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, and Strawberry Slush.

All supplies are Stampin' Up! and can be ordered right from your computer. Just go to my Online Store/Demonstrator Website. Click Here.

Stamps: Sheltering Tree, Indescribable Gifts
Paper: Watercolor paper, Best Year Ever (Sale-a-bration)
Card Stock: Whisper White
Ink: Black Stazon, Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette, Strawberry Slush, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight

I would love to hear what you think of this card. Your comments fuel my creativity!

I love it because it appears that your background pales out much like what happens on the screen except yours looks so pretty in those muted shades.

I really enjoyed your idea where you actually show us what the blossom on the tree looks like. Such an interesting idea! I sure am going to miss some of the out going In Colors! Strawberry Slush and Crisp Cantaloupe need to be incorporated into our regular colors! Just an eager wish from a big fan of gorgeous colors!!
