Stamp Review Crew: Daydream Medallion Edition

The Stamp Review Crew is back again for another Blog Hop. The stamp set, Daydream Medallions will be featured by everyone on the tour. Yes it has been around but I just know you will be amazed at the creative ways this set can be used!

Reminder: The blog hop officially begins Monday, August 18th so if some of the links don't work, come back again or move on to the next person. We try to get the kinks worked out as soon as possible.

If you arrived here from Yapha Mason's blog, then you are in the right spot. If this is your first stop, that is ok because you can go full circle just by following the links.

I had several ideas for this stamp set but I could only find time to create one and it was made with someone in mind.

There are 5 different medallion stamps in this set and they all nest in each other which makes this set so interesting! Also. Daydream Medallions coordinates with the Floral Frames framelits so they can be layered.

To make my card I stamped and heat embossed the 2 largest medallions on the Pistachio Pudding card stock. I found it easier to stamp the smaller of the 2 medallions first - then heat emboss it -then stamp the largest medallion. This method made lining it up much easier. The other 2 medallions were stamped and heat embossed on Very Vanilla card stock and I cut them out with the Floral Frames framelits. A banner and sentiment were added as well. All of this was layered on some designer paper from the All Abloom paper stack. It has a subtle vanilla polka dot pattern.

My embellishments are some Pistachio Pudding sequins, tiny Basic Pearls and a tiny heart punched with the new Hearts Border Punch

All supplies are Stampin' Up!

Stamps: Daydream Medallions, And Many More
Paper: All Abloom paper stack
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Pistachio Pudding
Ink: Versamark
Other: Floral Frames frame lit, Big Shot, Black embossing powder, In Color Sequins, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals, Hearts Border Punch

Now it is time to move onto the next stop which happens to be Tanya Boser's blog.  Enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by.

I love your color combo, Lisa. The black really makes everything "pop". The heart sequins were the perfect touch!

Lisa, this card looks great! I love the fact that you stamped both large medallions on the same card stock - and matched them PERFECTLY!

This is absolutely beautiful! I love your non-traditional color scheme and the sprinkles of heart sequins.

Great alignment tip. I really like that you offset the image to one side and balanced it with the clusters of sequins and pearls.
