Burlap Flower Thanks CCMC273

Another Thursday is here and that means a new challenge from Create with Connie and Mary!
It is a fun, sketch challenge this week with lots of possibilities.
I am still in the autumn mode so I went with autumn colors and created a distressed, shabby chic kind of card.
Stampin' Up! has this awesome Burlap Ribbon in Holiday Catalog. I decided to create a flower of sorts. To do that, I first trimmed off the edge and frayed it. Then I ruffled it and ran some thread through it to keep it together. Lastly I added a button. This burlap flower would look even better on a package or bag but it was fun to use the burlap ribbon in a non tradition way!

All supplies are Stampin' Up!

Stamps: Lots of Thanks
Paper: Sweater Weather dap
Card Stock: Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Other: Big Shot, Circle Framelits, Stylish Stripes embossing folder, button, Burlap Ribbon, sponge, Candy Dots

I chose to stick pretty close to the Create with Connie and Mary sketch this time but feel free to try it for yourself and interpret it however you feel led. We love to see your creativity!

Thanks for stopping by.
