CCMC264

I really, really love the colors of this week's Color Challenge!

And because I also love the Flowering Flourishes stamp set (I use it a lot in case you haven't noticed) and the Travel-Journal wheel I combined them for today's card. Does the card look a little dirty? That's because I sponged, ever so lightly, some Smoky Slate ink on the front.

The textured background was made with the Stylish Stripes embossing folder found in the Holiday catalog. The front panel was done with the aforementioned stamp sets and ink plus a few splatters done with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

I added the punched butterfly and ribbon for some dimension. And I can't forget those Candy Dots!

All supplies are Stampin' Up!

Stamps: Flowering Flourishes, Travel-Journal wheel, Gorgeous Grunge
Paper: Blushing Bride dsp
Card Stock: Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding, Smoky Slate
Ink: Smoky Slate, Pistachio Pudding
Other: Candy Dots, Ribbon, sponge, Bitty Butterfly punch, Elegant Butterfly punch, Big Shot, Stylish Stripes emb. folder

Hope you like the card. And I hope you will try the Color Challenge for yourself! It is so easy to link up your card on the Create with Connie and Mary blog. We would absolutely love to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping.
