The Wedding, Day 2

I am picking up where I left off yesterday with pictures of my daughter's wedding. Click here for the previous post.

This photo isn't the most flattering of my daughter but it is the only one (that I took) where she is smiling and David looks like he is not about to burst into tears. :) And the lobby of the church is very very sunny so the lighting at the top of the aisle was bright.

He walked her down the aisle first. Her former youth pastor performed the first part of the service. Then David took over from there. She really wanted him to be the one to marry her and even though he really just wanted to be her dad that day, he agreed. And he was glad that he did! In case you couldn't figure it out from that story - David is a pastor.

The back of her gorgeous dress!

The bride and 5 of the 6 cousins. The 2 year old had had it by this time and wouldn't sit for pictures, not that I blame her!

Our family: My youngest, my oldest, my mom, me, Bethany, her husband Zach and David.
Zach is a former Cedarville University basketball player and is 6'6". That was a common question the day of the wedding!

Their getaway car was a 1939? Studebaker and it takes 15 minutes to start up! This one is owned by a friend of ours who collects Studebakers. Since Zach's family is in the car business he was thrilled to be able to ride in this beauty. Bethany just loved the way it looked. Lol.

Tomorrow I can show you some crafty goodness from the reception Until then.....thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful-everything, daughter, dress, attendants & yesterdays post of the adorable little wagon, so creative and too, too, cute. Love the Studebaker as well, I wish the newly married couple a lifetime of happiness. How cool that her Dad was able to marry them too.

Oh I just love the way the Studebaker looks as well as the lovely look of your daughter. Very nice pictures! My family had a Studebaker in the late 50's and I always wanted to fix that old car up and have it for mine, but alas, my dad sold it for a few hundred dollars.
