Reminder: It is the last day to take advantage of Sale-a-bration and the opportunity to receive Free stamps, paper, or other products. You have until 11:50 pm Mt. time. I can't believe March is almost over!
I don't have a Sale-a-bration card to show you today. Instead I have an Easter card. I have been busy today, making my cards so I can mail them on Monday. This one will not get mailed but will be hand delivered. I don't want it to get crushed.
I used the Elegant Bird Bigz die for the Easter lilies! Actually, I only used the tail but still.
I was inspired by those lilies you make by tracing your child's hand and then cutting it out, etc.
Here is a link for a visual in case you don't know what I mean . http://familyfun.go.com/crafts/handprint-lilies-675224/
I love Family Fun magazine but that is going down a rabbit trail as my husband is apt to tell me when I get off the subject at hand. Ha Ha. No pun intended there.
After I die cut the tails only, I sponged the insides with Pear Pizzazz and drew a fine line on each "petal" with a Pear Pizzazz marker. Then I rolled them to form a lily and added a small piece of Daffodil Delight ribbon for the stamen. I kept each flower closed with glue dots. Lastly I wrapped each flower with Pear Pizzazz seam binding ribbon.
Now the cross is another story. The idea for this cross, which is brilliant by the way, originated with Dawn Olchefske. You can see the original (video) Here. Cool huh?
Here are the supplies.
Stamps: Delightful Dozen, Wood Grain background
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pool Party, Crumb Cake
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, Chocolate Chip
Other: Basic Pearls, Large Basic Pearl, White Organza Ribbon, Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding Ribbon, Mini Glue Dots, Daffodil Delight Taffeta ribbon, Big Shot, Elegant Bird Bigz die, Lattice Bigz die, Framed Tulips embossing folder, sponge
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
