Fresh Vintage Bouquet

I was trying to think of a new way to present the Sale-a-bration stamp set, Fresh Vintage. It is such a pretty stamp set especially the largest image in the set. But for today's card, I chose to focus on the smallest image.
To make the vase I used the large oval punch and punched an oval from a scrap of Everyday Enchantment dsp (also Sale-a-bration). Then I trimmed the bottom, adhered it to the card, and added a bouquet of punched flowers.

I have heard good and bad reviews about the ribbon in the Ribbon and Brad Pack. Some think it is too skinny. As a demonstrator, I probably shouldn't have told you that. Oops. But honestly, I really like this ribbon. Yes, it is thin, but it is so easy to work with. One of my favorite things to do with it is loop it again and again and then tie it off.

Okay, here is another piece of honesty for you. The dsp on the background of my card is upside down! And what's more, I just noticed it. Lol. I must have been so focused on the 2nd layer, I didn't notice the first layer. So if you case this card, don't case it exactly.

All supplies are Stampin' Up!

Stamps: Fresh Vintage (Sale-a-bration), Perfectly Penned
Paper: Everyday Enchantment dsp (Sale-a-bration)
Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Very Vanilla
Ink: Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade
Other: Ribbon and Brad Pack (Sale-a-bration), Corner punch, Large Oval Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, XL Oval Punch, dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

And so the Sale-a-bration sale continues but only 6 weeks are left to take advantage of The sale of the year. For every $50 you spend on Stampin' Up! products, you choose one of the items from the Sale-a-bration catalog (on the right side of my blog post). Questions? Just email me.

Hi Lisa!

I love your blog. I don't post often but this card really caught my eye. I am one of those who didn't like the "thin" ribbon...but I think you have just changed my mind. I would have never know your DSP was upside down. I love how the card looks. Nice Job!
I can't wait to see your next creation!
Stamping hugs,
Shirley

Such a cute card! I love how you made the vase. Thanks for the chuckle about not CASEing it exactly!
