I had so much fun with today's technique! I learned about it over at Stampin Addicts. It was this week's challenge and it uses ink and a clear block. For detailed directions I encourage you to head over there. Here is the link.
For this card I used white craft ink. After it dried I stamped the bird on a branch from the hostess set called Silhouette Sentiments. But I decided to take the technique one step further by using a clear block in a slightly larger size. I rolled the block's edges around the Night of Navy stamp pad. Kinda like the Rock and Roll Technique. Then I stamped the clear block right over my image. It left the coolest outline!! I love it!
Back to the stamp set Silhouette Sentiments. I wasn't going to get this hostess set cause it is so similar to Pocket Silhouettes. But I love this bird on a branch (what is it with me and my birds?)! I am so glad I chose this set because I love everything about it. It comes with 4 sayings and 4 delicate stamp images. And the best part? It is a Level 1 hostess set!
Stamps: Silhouette Sentiments (hostess)
Paper: Crumb Cake formerly known as Kraft
Ink: White craft ink, Night of Navy
Accessories: Clear blocks, Night of Navy button, hemp twine
I hope you will try this technique for yourself! Happy stamping!

I didn't see that on SA - what a gorgeous card. Love this technique and I agree with you about that stamp set. Perfect for Simply Adorned too.
