Leftover Butterfly With Style

I had one little vellum butterfly leftover from yesterday's card, and I just couldn't throw it away now could I?! Of course not! I used it instead to make a very clean and simple card. At least for me it is very clean and simple! The truth is I was really short on time so I made this card very quickly! I'm just keeping it real here. Lol.
The butterfly is the stamp, All a Flutter and the flowers and saying are from the set Elements of Style. Both are in the Summer Mini and will be available May 1st! It's coming soon!
After I stamped and embossed the butterfly I colored the back with a Crushed Curry marker. The rest of the card I left black and white. I wanted the contrast so the butterfly would be the focal point.

All supplies are Stampin' Up!
  • All a Flutter and Elements of Style stamp sets - Summer Mini
  • White and Vellum cardstock
  • Black and Versamark ink
  • Crushed Curry marker
  • Black embossing powder
  • dimensionals
  • Corner Rounder punch
Off to work I go! The schools are closed this week (April vacation) so our Library is a busy place - hope I'll have enough energy to stamp tonight!
