Vintage Friends

A little shabby, a little vintage, a little vogue. I made this card using the set Vintage Vogue, available only in the Occasions Mini catalog. When I can't come up with a good layout for a card I often turn to my Stampin Success magazine (demonstrators only). That is what I did for this card. I patterned it after a bright, cheerful "hearts" card found in the magazine only I made it shabby and vintage.

I used the new Perfect Polka Dots textured impressions folder for the background. Then I added some designer paper from Thoroughly Modern, added a punched Scalloped Trim Border, Soft Suede grosgrain ribbon and my stamped elements. The brad in the center of my flower is one of the new Sending Love Epoxy Brads from the Occasions Mini catalog. One final detail that you really can't see in the photo - paper piercing across the top of the designer paper.
