Thanks to my Mom

  I am very blessed to have a great mother. She is always going out of her way for my brother and me. I needed a thank you card for her this week so I used this sketch  over at Stampin Addicts.

  Anyway - I made the card according to the sketch and I just wasn't feelin the love. It was so plain! I rounded the corners thinking that might help but no I still hated didn't like it. Then I decided to add a watercolored image from the stamp set Peace Within. I felt much better about it after that! LOL.  And you know I think I really do have a thing for birds cause I didn't realize till now that I used another "bird stamp"! But my mom loves birds - good thing!

 corner rounder punch, 1 1/4" circle punch and 1 3/8" circle punch
  5/8" Brocade Blue grosgrain ribbon
