This is one of those cards that I made, sent, but never put up on my blog. I will be posting those every so often.
I made this card for one of my daughters (youngest?) when she was having a bad time last year at college. I think. The details are fuzzy but I loved this card. It has alot of details - stamping and cutting out, glitter, layering, punching and the ribbon on the side.
I stamped using the Friends 24/7 stamp set and colored one set of flowers on Shimmery cardstock.
I stamped the bird and another set of flowers on a separate piece of cardstock and then cut them out and layered them to the front of the card. Glitter added some sparkle to the project. The part I like the most is the ribbon. Because the card is layered on Basic Gray, I punched part of a circle into the Turquoise card front. This allowed the gray to show. I then used tied a piece of ribbon to a Jumbo Eyelet and using my crop-o-dile I added the Eyelet to the circle. Just one of those fun details that I love. The ribbon that goes across the front isn't connected to the eyelet at all.
Oh and this is a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" card.
