At the beginning of the summer I wanted to use the bird from Stampin' Up!'s stamp set Friends 24/7 and make it into a bluebird. I stamped the image and water-colored it but never got around to making a card. I found it the other day and decided to go ahead and make my card even though I needed to use Pacific Point (retired). I really like the combination of Pacific Point and Apricot Appeal - just like a bluebird! Ha!
Friends 24/7 is stamped and stamped again on this layer. I stamped and colored the bird on watercolor paper - cut it out and adhered. Ribbon with the saying was added as well. Finally made the flower with my Big Shot Birds and Blooms sizzlits. I sponged the edges and added a Build-a-Brad to the center. Whew!!
After all that work I sent it to a special customer as a thanks for placing an order!
